The launch of the RESIL-Card tool is not the end of a project. It marks the beginning of a shared journey.

RESIL-Card was designed as a practical tool to strengthen the resilience of cardiovascular services and teams. But its true impact will come from how you use it and embed it into your daily clinical practice.
In the coming months, we aim to foster a growing community of cardiovascular professionals and institutions committed to strengthening resilience in meaningful and sustainable ways.
By using the tool, you will join the RESIL-Card community and will be able to:
- Share experiences and exchange good practices
- Discover new ways of applying the tool
- Share feedback and suggestions for improvement
- Connect with peers working on resilience across disciplines and sectors
Your insights will provide essential evidence to evaluate the impact of the RESIL-Card tool on cardiovascular preparedness, particularly to understand the strengths and weaknesses of care pathway preparedness and systemic resilience. By comparing the results of the baseline assessment with those of the repeated exercise conducted after the implementation of corrective actions, it will be possible to measure progress and quantify the enhancement in preparedness over time.
What’s coming up?
To support effective implementation of the tool, European national Working Groups of Interventional Cardiology have been invited to nominate national RESIL-Card Ambassadors to champion the widespread dissemination in their countries.
As primary contact points, they will promote the tool nationally, support its integration into clinical practice, and facilitate connections with professional networks, institutions and relevant stakeholders. They may offer to collect user feedback and share practical experiences to help strengthen ongoing implementation. Their activities may include introductory webinars on how to apply the tool, practical workshops with real-life case examples, Q&A sessions with the development team, peer exchange opportunities, etc.
We encourage you to contact your National Ambassadors directly for guidance and peer support.
