Catalan Society of Cardiology supports the dissemination of RESIL-Card online

The RESIL-Card consortium would like to express its gratitude to the Catalan Society of Cardiology for its ongoing support in promoting the dissemination of the RESIL-Card tool among cardiovascular healthcare professionals.

The Society has recently published a dedicated webpage introducing RESIL-Card and its objectives, including a QR code providing direct access to the tool. This initiative will help increase awareness of RESIL-Card among cardiologists, clinical teams, and healthcare managers who are committed to strengthening the resilience of cardiovascular care services across Catalonia.

RESIL-Card was developed to support hospital cardiovascular professionals in assessing the preparedness of their care pathways and identifying ways to improve resilience in the event of future disruptions. Drawing on lessons learned from recent crises, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the tool helps healthcare teams evaluate vulnerabilities, anticipate challenges, and implement measures to support the continuity and quality of cardiovascular care during periods of stress.

Scientific societies play a crucial role in fostering the adoption of innovative approaches that enhance healthcare system preparedness. By sharing information about RESIL-Card with its members and the wider cardiovascular community, the Catalan Society of Cardiology is contributing to ongoing efforts to ensure that cardiovascular services are better equipped to respond to future emergencies and disruptions.

We sincerely thank the Catalan Society of Cardiology for its support and for helping extend the reach of RESIL-Card. Together, we can continue to advance more resilient cardiovascular care pathways and strengthen the capacity of healthcare systems to maintain high-quality patient care, even under challenging circumstances.

We encourage healthcare professionals to visit the Society’s webpage and explore how RESIL-Card can support resilience assessment and improvement within their organisations.
